Our water heater stopped working at night, so I contacted Water Heaters Only and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician on the phone was excellent—answered all my questions, explained the timeline, and gave an estimate of the costs. The next day, Lucas Pedro arrived on time, walked me through the process, costs, and timeline, and replaced the unit within a few hours. He did an amazing job, answered all my questions, and provided his contact number in case we needed anything further. I highly recommend Water Heaters Only!
Well, Wesley did it again. Excellent service. He tracked down the problem, which was not of his making, and remedied the small gas leak in the pilot light line. It apparently occurred in transit or during manufacturing. What price peace of mind. Job well, done.
I could not be happier. Your technician, Wesley Cramer, arrived on time, removed our old defunct water heater and installed our new American Standard, 50 gal., water heater. The work he performed was excellent. He did a neat, clean install and even improved on some aspect of the old installation and cleanup some of the connections. He left the work site cleaner than it was when he arrived. The price, although not cheap, was competitive. He was in and out in a little over two hours. He even insulated the hot water lines which I did not expect. I don't know what you pay Wesley but he deserves a raise.

The service provided by Water Heaters Only was excellent. Within a half hour from our initial service request, Lucas called to confirm he was on his way to inspect our non-functional water heater. He provided the price to repair and price to replace. We decided to replace it considering its age, which was professionally installed within a couple hours that same day. Very satisfied.
First let me say that from the moment my call was answered I found everyone helpful and knowledgeable. Our technician, Lucas was fantastic and answered all of my questions. He replaced my old hot water heater with a new one efficiently even with all of our clutter around him. I can’t rate the service I received high enough. I’d give 10 stars if that were an option.
Waking up to a colder than normal shower and then finding water leaking from the water heater in the garage is not how I planned my day. Luckily it was just a call away for Luis to turn up and sort out a new water heater. The job did have some installation challenges but Luis managed to overcome them and made me a happy customer. Great response time from Water Heaters Only all the way from the initial call and answering the questions to scheduling the work. They scheduled the inspection for the same day. Wesley came and gave the options for the new heater and he was professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and got the new water heater installed in no time. When my water heater stopped producing hot water, I needed an evaluation quickly. Water Heaters Only sent technician Louis out the same morning. Louis gave me a detailed short list of my probable issues and cost estimates for those scenarios. Given my heater was 9+ years old I chose to have a new one installed. Louis did an excellent job dismantling the old unit and installing the new one including new plumbing and valves where needed. The price was fair and I feel very confident with the quality of his work.
My water heater stopped working. I spoke with Alex over the phone, who was polite and up front about their pricing. He said Luis was available and he responded quickly. Luis was great. He was personable and handled the repair deftly. I would definitely use their services again.

Sean Lee did a wonderful job replacing my leaky water heater. He left the job cleaner than what it looked like before. Sean explained everything in detail on the emergency switches on new water heater, he vacuumed the utility closet and put a drop off cloth on my carpet to make sure everything stayed cleaned. The job was done quickly with care and was less price than the quote on the phone. Highly recommend. The dispatcher was also very pleasant to work with and I got an appt the very next morning.
Water Heaters Only is an outstanding organization to work with. I highly recommend their services. Woke up one morning to no hot water. After pilot reigniting failed, I called around for a local company and Water Heaters Only was the first to actually pick up the call rather than me having to leave a message. Was told my 13 year old heater likely needed to be replaced simply due to its age which made sense given the lifespan of the previous water heater. Was booked for an afternoon appointment but was notified soon after that Sean my assigned technician could arrive later in AM. Sean arrived and assessed my situation. Actually complimented the previous installation work and said as a result I would save money as no additional upgrades would be necessary. My final cost was less than the original range given me over the phone. I really appreciated Sean’s candor and the savings. By noon Sean had finished installing my new water heater. Very professional. Great experience all around. Again, highly recommend Water Heaters Only.

Water Heaters Only replaced our old tank water heater with a tankless. Wesley and Lucas were the techs who performed the job. The work was completed in about 3-4 hours. They did a great job with the installation and cleaned the space up afterwards! Now getting plenty of hot water.
Update: We wanted to get an external pump for recirculating hot water. Wesley returned and completed the pump installation and testing in a couple of hours. Great Job!

Lucas was the technician that came out to replace my water heater. He was amazing!!! Completely redid everything as the water heater he replaced was 30 years old so needless to say nothing was up to code other than the straps. My water heater closet is not all that accessible but he somehow removed the old one and installed the new one without any assistance. He is superman in my humble opinion and I am grateful to he and Dave who I spoke with initially for the speedy service and wonderful job. My hot water heater broke on a Friday afternoon. I called Water Heaters Only around 1:30 and they told me they would have a technician out between 3 and 6 that same day. Lucas called around 2:15 saying he was 30 minutes out, arrived and installed a new hot water heater by 4:30 that day. Absolutely amazing service. The technician, Lucas, was friendly, helpful and did a great job!
Second time we have used Water Heaters Only. They installed our water heater 19 years ago. Today it started leaking. The technician, Lucas, called and arrived on time. It was time to replace our 20-year-old water heater when it began to act up—over the weekend, of course. Called Water Heaters Only on Saturday afternoon and they had technician Lucas here by Sunday mid morning! The job was completed in two hours, and Lucas was fast, clean, efficient and knowledgeable. Amazing service & speed! Wow, this was my first time having to replace a water heater, and I have to say I was VERY impressed! First, I was referred by my sister which was already a good sign. I called at 9:30pm (when I discovered my WH broke) on a Friday night and spoke to a live person (Cyrus), who set me up with a cost estimate and a time window for the very next morning to have my unit replaced! As promised, a very nice tech (Wesley) called me in the morning to say he was on his way, and behold...I had a new water heater installed by 11:30am!! For nine years, I've been dealing with an outdated leaky water heater which caused my PG&E bill to come in at nearly $500 every month and caused me to take one-minute showers. Those days are done.
Water Heater went out on Friday night. Was advised by a friend to contact a company that ONLY does Water Heaters, as opposed to a plumber. A live person answered the phone Friday at 7pm, and we scheduled for a replacement water heater for Saturday. It was complete by 3pm Saturday. Lucas our tech was knowledgeable, thorough and cleaned up the job site.
Water heaters only sent Lucas their technician out to my residence to replace my water heater. He did an outstanding job very clean work very knowledgeable would not hesitate to use him in the future. Lucas was a great technician

Called at 8:00am to get help for a leaking water heater. Paul asked questions and determined I would need a new one. Although I was promised the Noon to 4:30 window, I had Wesley on-site and starting work by 11:30am. Wesley was personable and professional, and worked steadily to get the job done, with a couple of improvements over the old set-up, in a couple of hours. Very pleased with the work!!
My 15 year old water heater tank finally broke down & started leaking when I turned it back on after being gone on vacation for weeks. I searched on google for water heater service companies and found Water Heaters Only, Inc. Because of its excellent reviews from customers, I didn't hesitate to call around 9 PM and spoke to CJ who was very helpful in setting up an appointment with the technician. The service technician, Mack, showed up at 10:30 AM to check the broken water heater. Mack was very professional and explained what was going to be done and the job estimate. It took about 2.5 hours to complete the project. Mack did an excellent job replacing my water heater with a new Bradford White unit. The new unit was all set and ready to go. My new water heater seems to be working much more efficiently than my previous one when I had it new. It emits a humming sound when it's heating up the water but not loud and heats up the water fairly quickly. I am happy overall with the service, purchase, and unit installation from Water Heaters Only, Inc. Will do business again with them anytime and in the future.
Water heaters only is always at least next day available which is great. So far at all of our appointments, they have arrived in the beginning of the 4 hour window which is definitely unexpected these days but very caring of customers time. Every technician we've dealt with has been very helpful. LUIS was our very enthusiastic technician this time. He gave us our estimate and came on his day off just to do our water heater. That's a sign of somebody who likes doing their job. He was fast and efficient. He gave us advice on keeping the area around the water heater ventilated and free of dust and lint. So glad to have hot water back without worrying about when its going to go out! Thanks!

We called at 10:30pm on a Wednesday night and they answered the phone! Two days of cold showers provides incentive for sure. We got a call from Luis at 7:30am Thursday morning to arrange the service call at our home in Vacaville. Luis did a marvelous job, excellent craftsmanship and he’s a heckuva nice guy too. EDIT: I forgot to mention the person I called in my review. I want to say his name was Ian - sorry I can't remember. Again, total professional - took the call, reassured me that the things I was describing ("My water heater exploded and there's water everywhere!") was a totally normal thing, described the entire process of how the fix would go, asked a few brief and vital questions about our existing water heater (capacity, age, etc.), then gave me an accurate quote right on the spot. He said someone would be out between 1 and 4 and, sure enough. Lucas popped up right about 1.
So, yeah, five stars all around. This should have sucked WAY more than it did, but this team really helped mitigate that.

When you’re out of hot water and a water heater decides it’s done, you generally need a replacement pretty quickly! I can’t thank enough the staff that helped us to do that! Being a long time DIY’er (I’m 70) I sometimes struggle with deciding which job to take on myself but because of the weight and limited work space I decided to hire someone to replace my water heater. What a great experience with Water Heaters Only and their technician Wesley. I was given a quote estimate over the phone and the job was within that initial estimate. Wesley was a pleasure to work with and explained what he was doing as the job went on. He suggested a location modification that gave me more room around the water heater which was very much appreciated. The job site was thoroughly cleaned before he left. We discovered the water heater leaking Saturday afternoon two days before Xmas. Called Water Heaters Only hoping they could send someone out on a weekend before the Holiday. Laura answered on the second ring and said they could send someone out within 2 hours. A half hour later the technician, Wesley called to say he’d be there in 20 minutes! He was extremely courteous and friendly. He had everything needed to replace the water heater and completed the job in a few hours. He was very neat and efficient and made sure everything worked properly. He removed the old heater and made sure everything was cleaned up. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Wesley our technician did an excellent job. He showed up at our house promptly at 8:00 am and went through the task in hand in great details. After the installation, walked me through the specifics of our new water heater and the do's to maintain it moving forward.
Minus 1 star for 2 errors. Heater stopped working on a Saturday. Called at 7pm and was able to set up appointment for Sunday. Needed a special heater called Power Vent. Person on phone said they had it in stock and was going to make sure they bring it with them on Sunday. Sunday came and there was miscommunication and had to reschedule for Monday because they didn't have heater w them. Spoke w the technician about getting extended warranty and received a quote for warranty. Monday comes, technician did a wonderful job. However, realized he misquoted me on the warranty as regular heater. Paid the regular price of the extended warranty for the special heater. I worked retail before and understand this common mistake of misquoting on special items. 4 star based on knowledge, service, attitude, and willingness to work on a Sunday. Tech stated they do not do price match. I recieved a verbal quote from a different company that was $500 cheaper, but the company had some scary reviews and thought it be better to go with a more reputable company that specializes in water heaters only.
Lucas arrived at the beginning of the 4hr window which was much appreciated. He was very friendly and courteous and had the new water heater installed in no time! I had an excellent experience with this company on a water heater replacement from the initial call (Cyrus) to the technician (Wesley) that came out to perform the installation. I'm a DIYer who likes to learn from experts when they come out and Wesley was great at giving feedback on the process and answering my questions. They use Bradford White water heaters which is USA made, a plus for me. The result was a nice neat installation.

We called Water Heaters Only for an emergency water heater installation after my parent’s water heater completely failed. The company gave us a repair window and told us we would be the Technician Lucas first appointment. Lucas showed up on time and got right to work. He did a good job explaining all the costs involved. Lucas made quick work at removing the old water heater and installed the new Bradford and White water heater with all updated lines and valves. The entire job took approximately 1 hour. Lucas tested and insured the water heater and water into the house was working and cleaned up and removed the old water heater. Our technician was Lucas. He came right on time and did a great job of removing the old water heater and installing the new one. He was able to answer all my questions. Lucas was very professional.

Our water heater gave out late on a Friday night. I called Water Heaters Only at 5:30am Saturday and their tech Lucas arrived early that afternoon. New waterheater installation was done well and final product looks good. Doniel did a good job, thanks. Hope this new Bradford White will work as long as the old one, 21 years, though I will not bet on it. The only negative thing is $2500 price tag. I understand that it does cost that much now, I do. But, when I was setting up the appointment, I was told that to replace 50-gal unit it would cost about $2000. Oh, well, it is nicely installed and I have hot water!

Oh my gosh! We needed a water heater immediately. Friends and family coming tomorrow for christmas festivities. Shock! They answered the phone...we did not need to leave a message. That came out today. Put in the heater and its wonderful. They had to re-pipe everything because of corrosion. Their verbal estimate matched the actual cost. I wish they were plumbers. There service was great! Called on a Wednesday afternoon telling them our water heater went out. After answering a few questions, they told me they could have someone come out the next day in the morning. Lucas was the installer. He showed up on time was nice and professional. We were having problems with the plumbing company our home warranty chose and felt like they were price gauging us, so my husband called Water heaters only at 7 pm and they showed up at our house with a new water heater at 8 am the next morning! Daniel Nunn was exceptional. He called ahead to make sure he knew what size heater we wanted. He arrived on time(5 min. early), gave us an estimate with excellent explanations of the options, and gave an estimate of the time he would need to install the heater. We chose what we wanted, and, despite hitting some problems with the installation, he completed within 5 min. of his original estimate. Daniel was a good craftsman that knew his business and had the GREAT customer service as his most important product. Couldn't be more impressed.

Redfin, install date 5/31, San Ramon, Installers name; Daniel The installer responded very quickly, was very courteous and completed the job in just a couple of hours. I am very pleased and satisfied with the work performed and the professionalism of the rep. He looked at my old water heater to make sure it really needed replacement, to try and save me some money. He explained why it was not serviceable and advised a new was needed. Again I am very happy with the work and quick response.
The experience from start to finish has been great. I heard a rumbling noise somewhere in our house, didn't think much of it, When I got to the water heater after several hours I found out that our tank was leaking. I couldn't turn off the water even though I turned off the water supply leading to the tank. I called Water Heaters Only in the middle of the night and Greg on the line walked me through the steps patiently. Greg was located out of Grass Valley, while we were located in Pleasant Hill.
Greg coordinated for a water tank to be sent out the very next day on 5/23/19. Peni and Lucas came out and were really nice, thorough, and professional. They explained what was going on, provided me with a transparent quote and got to work right away and completed the job in less than the time expected. Even better was the cost of parts and service came in under other providers. Thanks for being life savers!

The plumber who came out to do the bid for my tankless is brilliant. Seriously. He sat up in my teeny attic with me, looking at the scene of the plumbing crime that flooded my house and figured out what another plumber, contractor and insurance investigator missed. Then he fixed it in less than an hour.
I’m still replacing my hot water heater because having an ancient water heater in the attic is tempting fate.

“Our water heater was dying. I called this morning at 9 AM. The call was answered immediately by a living human who told me that a tech would call me at 10. At 9:56 my phone rang and I spoke with nice guy named John who listened to my story, gave me options, gave me an estimate, and told me that he could be to our place between 11 and 11:30 to check it out and replace (ours was too old to fix.) He arrived at 11, checked out the situation, explained my options again and gave me a price which was several hundred below other places I had called. I elected to do the job, John explained what he’d be doing and how long it would take, and began work. Two and a half hours later we have a sparkling new water heater and I’m a very happy customer.”

“My water heater went out sometime Sunday night and didn’t notice it till Monday morning when I had to take a cold shower. I called Water Heaters Only Monday morning and setup an appointment for Wednesday. Well I received a call today that they had a cancellation and that they had an employee in the neighborhood and they can be right there. Within 20 minutes Loni showed up and was very nice. He asked where the unit was and went right to work. It took him just over an hour to do and I was very pleased with the work and cleanliness of the job he did.”

“I found my water heater leaking this morning. I immediately called WHO to have someone come out to replace it. I was informed that someone could come within hours, but I had an important matter to take care of and was leaving now. I requested an afternoon appointment instead and got a 4-7 pm window. At 5:30 pm or so I received a call from tech John A that he was on his way to my home. Upon arrival, he surveyed the situation and determined that indeed the heater was leaking and needed replacing. He explained all the things that needed to be done and how long it would take. I agreed with his assessment and requested that he proceed with the job. John went about his work with efficiency and professionalism. The work was completed ahead of plan, the job was done neatly and all all debris was removed and job site left clean. My wife decided to call Water Heaters Only after hearing from a friend at the parent-faculty club at my kids school. As it turned out, we both ended up being happy with the referral. Alex showed up on time for our appointment. He quickly assessed the existing tank and explained in detail to us what he was planning to do. “I have used this company twice. The last time was on 1/8/15. I called on a Wednesday and was confirmed for an appointment on Thursday between 10 AM and 2 PM. The company neglected to tell me that you MUST answer your phone on the day of the scheduled service; otherwise, you will be bumped from the schedule. I was at home all day on 1/8 but happened to be in my garage. Normally, I would hear the phone ring even in the garage but a lawn mower drowned out the ringing phone. Once inside, I discovered I had two recorded phone messages from Water Heaters Only. I had been bumped from the schedule, because I had not answered the phone. Fortunately, I was able to reach them and reschedule for later that day. I called the scheduling office and explained that they needed to tell customers that they must be able to be reached on the phone on the day of installation, or they will be crossed off the schedule. My hot water heater did get installed and the service technician was very professional and thorough. Very pleased with that part of the service.”

“On Thursday, January 8, 2015 I got my new water heater installed by Beni. I called Wednesday night around 8:00 p.m. and had hot water the next afternoon. Beni called me a little over an hour before my scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He was quick, efficient, clean and friendly. My house never looked like it had a water heater removed, pipes replaced and a new water heater put in. He was fantastic. Before he started he let me know what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. I had already checked into the cost of water heaters and his price was more than fair add in his efficiency, quick response time, neatness and I was sold. “I called Water Heaters Only and Alex showed up when promised. He took a look at what was on hand and provided a quote on the spot. I would have given a 5 Star rating if he had used a new pvc pipe from the drain to the outside of the house. He also ran out of copper piping on the overflow and had to piece it together. The biggest complaint I had was…..our water heater is in the garage on a platform and he struggled to remove the old one and had to lift the new one back up there. This was an accident waiting to happen.”

Our 80 gal. electric water heater suddenly stopped delivering the usual amount of hot water this week. No fun ending a shower in cold water! Our usual plumber was all booked up, but highly recommended Water Heaters Only. We called and were pleased to get an immediate answer from a real human….no answering machines or phone robots!
We appreciated the short 2-hour window frame (8AM-10AM) given for arrival of our service tech. He called within that time and told us exactly when to expect him!
The problem turned out to be a burned-out heating element, and we were given the choice of a repair or new heater. Based on the age of our old water heater, we chose to replace it with a new one, and the company was able to obtain the same brand, quality and features. We appreciated the prompt same-day service, delivery and installation. We highly recommend the company, based on our good experience.”
