Gas & Electric Storage Tank

residential gas water heater

Residential storage type tank water heaters are the most common water heater products sold in the USA today. They are available in gas and electric models and come in 30, 40, 50, 65, 75, 80 & 100 gallon capacities. If you currently have a storage type tank water heater, we generally recommend a like for like replacement unless you are looking for more hot water or are interested in a high efficiency water heater.

Hybrid / Condensing

hybrid condensing water heater

High efficiency condensing water heater products are somewhat new to the market. They use condensing technology and recapture the energy used to heat the water heater. Most condensing type water heaters can use a PVC vent and average between .92% and .96% efficiency. That’s about 30% more efficient that a traditional storage tank.

Residential Tankless

tankless water heater

Tankless water heater products have been all the rage for the past few years. They are designed to heat water “on demand”. When you open a hot water faucet the tankless water heater turns, heats the water and delivers the hot water to your fixture. However the best feature about tankless water heaters is that they are small, compact and can be installed in a variety of places. Tankless water heaters range in efficiency from .82% to .96% efficiency depending on the model.

Commercial Tank Water Heaters

commercial water heater

Commercial water heater products are generally designed for high hot water demand or to meet temperature requirements. We often install commercial water heaters for apartment communities, HOA’s, restaurants and other commercial businesses. Commercial water heaters are designated by the BTU input of the water heater, the higher the BTU’s the more hot water a commercial water heater can produce. If you have a commercial water heater problem try to have the model # and BTU rating available when you call for service.
